Rare Tree Nursery was founded by Brent Markus in August 2007 as Markus Farms, LLC. Our mission from the start has been to supply high quality landscape-appropriate Japanese maples and dwarf conifers to the trade. We have meticulously selected the greatest varieties for USDA zones 5-7, and have consciously avoided tender, obsolete, or unreliable varieties. We look forward to supplying you with the best dwarf conifers and Japanese maples available!
